Why We Chose It: These soap shelves are made from Moso Bamboo, which is not only one of the fastest-growing, renewable resources, but has also been used for centuries in buildings, flooring, and culinary tools. Making these soap shelves both sustainable and durable. Place in an area where it can drain or elevate to keep out of standing water. Clean it off occasionally with mild soap and water (dish soap is fine) and let it dry out.

Bamboo grown without pesticides. Glue to hold the sides together. Sealed with a water-based polyurethane (non-plastic, synthetic material similar to rubber)

Recycle at curbside with wood products if your city has a program that allows woods such as construction wood. Due to the water based varnish material it is not compostable.
