Why We Chose It: Nellie's Dish Powder is concentrated and made with ingredients that are biodegradable, septic-safe, phosphate-free, plant-based, and gentle on the planet! Liquid detergents are made up largely of water. Nellie's doesn't think selling and moving water around the planet is a very good idea. They believe more cleaning power can be packed into a smaller space using powder.

Use the hottest water available (60°C-70°C/140°F-150°F). Fill detergent cups as recommended by machine manufacturer. If machine has no cup dispenser, place 1 tablespoon in bottom of dishwasher for average load of dishes.
*TIP: Put a little powder outside of the detergent compartment for a prewash and to boost your dish cleaning action!

Refills come in a paper bag and are closed with paper tape, making them 100% recycthroughe and compostable! They can be composted in your home compost or commercially.
Refillable Glass Jars are made to be reused. The glass jar itself can be recycled with glass recycling after the lid is removed.
With Bottle Swap/Refill, you return your bottle to us for a new bottle refilled with product.
*Because all our bottles are part of a closed-loop refill system where we do not recycle and replace bottles until needed, bottles may have imperfections.
